Megan Renée Jones

Everyone has a story.  Mine is pretty simple.

I was born and raised by Robert (Bobby) and Marcy Jones, in a small, yet very comfortable house in Pittsburgh, PA. As an only child, my parents and I have shared a very close bond.  Unfortunately, we lost my dad to complications with lung cancer in July 2022.

When I was little, my dad had a side gig as a professional wedding photographer with mom as his assistant. They enjoyed it for quite some time, but eventually decided to retire.  From there, dad took pleasure in shooting things that were much less demanding.  He always said, "Nature never complains."

I didn't personally cultivate an interest in photography until high school when it was offered as an elective. Along with a shared interest in photography, my family and I share a tremendous passion for world travel.  We've had the privilege of enjoying many wonderful trips together. It's an honor to share with you what is seen through my camera's eye.

So where does the name Ginger Snaps come from? I'm proud to be one of four redheads in my family. While I occasionally have a taste for one of those yummy German cookies, this ginger snaps photos!
